Work Environment

This position is located onsite at our modern rehabilitation facility situated in Bakersfield, California. Our facility is designed to create a welcoming and efficient environment that promotes healing and healing interactions. You will work within a multidisciplinary team composed of physical therapists, occupational therapists, and administrative staff to ensure seamless patient care and progress tracking. The typical work schedule for this role is Monday to Friday from 9 AM to 5 PM, providing work-life balance while allowing you to focus on delivering excellence in physical therapy.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough patient evaluations using comprehensive assessments and hands-on examinations to develop customized treatment plans that address specific rehabilitation needs.
• Implement a diverse range of evidence-based therapeutic techniques, including manual therapy, therapeutic exercise, and modalities, aimed at restoring patients' functional abilities and alleviating pain.
• Educate patients and their families on injury prevention strategies, rehabilitation techniques, and overall wellness to empower them on their recovery journey.
• Collaborate closely with referring physicians, chiropractors, and other healthcare professionals to ensure a coordinated approach to patient care, maintaining high standards of communication and documentation.
• Maintain detailed and accurate patient records using electronic health record (EHR) systems in compliance with state regulations and best practices.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Our patient population encompasses a diverse mix of individuals of all ages who are seeking rehabilitation for various conditions, including orthopedic injuries, neurological disorders, and post-operative recovery. You will be responsible for developing individualized care plans that consider each patient's unique background and rehabilitation goals. Your role is crucial in facilitating their recovery and helping them regain their independence and quality of life.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Physical Therapy or equivalent (DPT, MPT, or BSPT) from an accredited institution.
• Must hold a current and valid Physical Therapist license in the state of California.
• Strong understanding of human physiology and anatomy relevant to physical therapy practices.
• Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills to foster effective patient relationships and support teamwork.

Preferred Experience

• A minimum of 2 years of hands-on experience in a clinical setting, particularly focused on orthopedics, geriatrics, sports therapy, or neurorehabilitation.
• Demonstrated proficiency in manual therapy techniques and a passion for helping patients achieve their functional goals.
• Experience with EHR systems and documentation best practices to maintain compliance and improve patient tracking.

Compensation and Benefits
