Position Overview

Motion and Health Rehabilitation Center is seeking a dedicated and skilled Orthopedic Physical Therapist to join our team in Helmetta, New Jersey. Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct thorough evaluations of adult patients, primarily aged 40 to 65, suffering from various orthopedic conditions, identifying their needs and establishing appropriate treatment goals.
  • Design and implement personalized treatment plans that incorporate a blend of manual therapy techniques, therapeutic exercises, and educational strategies to empower patients in their recovery process.
  • Record patient progress meticulously in the CureMD EMR to maintain accurate and up-to-date health records, ensuring all information is accessible for interdisciplinary team discussions.
  • Monitor and adjust treatment protocols based on patient feedback and clinical outcomes to optimize rehabilitation efficacy and promote patient success.
  • Engage in collaborative meetings with interdisciplinary team members to discuss patient care and ensure that all aspects of the treatment plans are aligned with best practices and patient needs.
Patient Population / Client Focus

Our clinic primarily serves adults between the ages of 40 to 65 who are dealing with orthopedic issues, including post-surgical recovery, chronic pain syndromes, and musculoskeletal injuries. As a Physical Therapist, you will play a crucial role in helping these patients regain function, alleviate pain, and restore their quality of life through targeted therapy and education.

Qualifications
  • A Bachelor's Degree in Physical Therapy is required, with a valid New Jersey Physical Therapy license or eligibility to obtain one.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills are essential for understanding patient needs and collaborating effectively with a multifaceted healthcare team.
  • Proficiency in utilizing electronic medical record systems for tracking patient progress and treatment outcomes.
Preferred Experience
  • While a minimum of 2 years of prior outpatient experience is preferred, we strongly encourage recent graduates who have completed their clinical rotations in outpatient settings to apply.
  • Familiarity with orthopedic physical therapy practices and rehabilitation techniques will be viewed favorably.
Compensation and Benefits

This position offers a competitive salary range of USD 110,000 to 125,000 per year, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
