Key Responsibilities- Conduct thorough evaluations of patients recovering from injuries, surgeries, or illnesses, ensuring a holistic understanding of their needs.
- Develop tailored treatment plans that incorporate techniques such as therapeutic exercises, manual therapy, modalities, and patient-specific equipment to alleviate discomfort and enhance functional mobility.
- Utilize metrics to track patient progress effectively, adjusting treatment plans as necessary to meet evolving therapeutic goals.
- Educate patients, their families, and caregivers about therapy processes, therapeutic exercises, and proper use of assistive devices.
- Maintain detailed and comprehensive records of treatment sessions, outcomes, and any adjustments made to the therapeutic approach.
- Engage in continuous professional development through workshops, training, and collaboration with peers to ensure you remain at the forefront of evidence-based practices.
Our patient demographic includes children, adults, and seniors with a spectrum of rehabilitative needs. These may range from post-operative recovery to chronic pain management and sports-related injuries. As a Physical Therapist, you'll play a pivotal role in guiding these individuals towards improved functionality and better overall health, focusing on both physical rehabilitation and emotional support during their healing journey.
Qualifications- A Doctorate degree in Physical Therapy (DPT) from an accredited program.
- Current and valid state licensure to practice physical therapy in Florida.
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, to effectively interact with patients and interdisciplinary team members.
- Proficiency in using electronic health record systems and other digital platforms for documentation and tracking.
- A commitment to ongoing education and professional growth within the physical therapy field.
While a minimum of 2 years of experience in a clinical setting is preferred, we welcome applicants who recently graduated and demonstrate enthusiasm for learning and growth within the profession. Experience with a variety of patient demographics and rehabilitation techniques will be considered an asset.
Compensation and BenefitsThe salary for this position ranges from USD 100,000 to 120,000 per year, commensurate with experience. Our comprehensive benefits package includes:
