Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct thorough evaluations of patients to assess their physical abilities and challenges, taking into consideration their medical history and personal goals.
  • Design and implement individualized treatment plans that utilize various therapeutic modalities, including exercise regimens, manual therapy techniques, and assistive device training.
  • Employ hands-on techniques and exercise prescriptions to promote recovery and enhance patients' individual capabilities.
  • Monitor patient progress closely; track treatment responses and adjust therapy plans as necessary to align with evolving therapeutic goals.
  • Provide education and training to patients and their families regarding treatment protocols, exercises to practice at home, and effective use of assistive devices.
  • Maintain up-to-date documentation and record-keeping in compliance with organizational policies and state regulations.
  • Stay abreast of advancements in the field by participating in professional development opportunities, workshops, and training sessions.
Patient Population / Client Focus

You will work with a diverse patient demographic, including children and adults facing challenges such as orthopedic injuries, neurological disorders, postoperative rehabilitation, and chronic pain conditions. Developing rapport with each patient is essential, as is understanding their unique circumstances and motivations.

Qualifications
  • A Bachelor's Degree in Physical Therapy is required; a Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) is preferred to enhance treatment efficacy.
  • Current and valid state license in Physical Therapy.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills to effectively engage with patients, families, and multidisciplinary team members.
  • Proficient in using electronic medical record (EMR) systems and other relevant computer programs to document patient care.
Preferred Experience
  • A minimum of 2 years of clinical experience in a physical therapy setting, with a focus on outpatient rehabilitation is preferred.
  • Experience working in collaborative healthcare environments is advantageous, facilitating seamless patient care.
  • Previous experience with specific patient populations, such as pediatrics or geriatrics, can be beneficial.
Compensation and Benefits
