Work Environment

The Physical Therapist will work on-site in our outpatient clinic located in Tumwater, WA. Our facility is equipped with state-of-the-art rehabilitation tools and technology, designed to enhance the patient experience and recovery outcomes. We operate Monday to Friday from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM, allowing for a balanced work-life routine.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conducting thorough initial evaluations of patients to assess their physical condition and identify specific rehabilitation needs.
  • Designing and implementing customized therapy plans that incorporate evidence-based manual therapy techniques and therapeutic exercises tailored to each patient's unique situation.
  • Regularly monitoring patient progress, making necessary adjustments to treatment protocols to ensure optimal recovery.
  • Collaborating with physicians, other allied health professionals, and the healthcare team to deliver integrated and holistic care that addresses the physical and psychological wellbeing of our patients.
  • Documenting all procedures, evaluations, and progress in our EMR system, including WebPT, efficiently and accurately to maintain high standards of record-keeping.
Patient Population / Client Focus

Our clinic specializes in orthopedic care, and you will work with a diverse patient demographic including athletes recovering from sports-related injuries, individuals recovering from post-surgery rehabilitation, and elderly patients managing chronic conditions. This role allows you to develop specialized skills in managing complex orthopedic cases while fostering relationships that empower our patients throughout their recovery journey.

Qualifications
  • A Master's degree or Doctorate in Physical Therapy from an accredited institution.
  • A valid and active Physical Therapy license in the state of Washington.
  • Proven experience of at least 2 years in an orthopedic setting, demonstrating proficiency in assessment and treatment methods.
  • Knowledge and experience in manual therapy techniques.
  • Proficiency in using Electronic Medical Records systems, specifically WebPT, to manage patient information and treatment plans.
  • Excellent communication skills, ensuring clear and effective interaction with patients and healthcare team members.
Preferred Experience
  • Experience in outpatient orthopedic rehabilitation is highly preferred.
  • Previous involvement in developing individualized care plans and conducting group therapy sessions.
  • Ongoing education in advanced therapeutic techniques or emerging treatment modalities is a plus.
Compensation and Benefits

We offer a competitive salary range of $90,000 - $110,000 annually, commensurate with experience and qualifications. Additionally, our benefits package includes full health, dental, and vision insurance coverage, a generous employer-matched 401(k) plan, and 2-3 weeks of paid time off per year.
