Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough consultations with patients to assess their physical conditions and symptoms, ensuring an individualized approach to therapy.
• Diagnose movement dysfunctions and develop comprehensive, evidence-based treatment plans aimed at restoring functionality and promoting recovery.
• Educate patients and their families on appropriate therapeutic exercises and techniques, ensuring they have the knowledge to support their rehabilitation journey.
• Utilize various treatment modalities, including manual therapy, therapeutic exercise, and patient education, to optimize healing and recovery.
• Assist patients in the proper use of rehabilitation equipment such as wheelchairs, walkers, and other assistive devices.
• Maintain accurate patient records detailing treatment plans, progress notes, and outcomes to track the effectiveness of interventions.
• Provide guidance to patients and their families regarding in-home treatment options, ensuring continuity of care and support.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Our diverse patient population includes individuals ranging from children with developmental disabilities to older adults recovering from surgery or chronic pain conditions. As a Physical Therapist, you will adapt your treatment techniques to meet the unique needs of each client, helping them achieve their goals and improve their overall quality of life.

Qualifications

• A Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) degree from an accredited program is required.
• Current state licensure to practice physical therapy in New Jersey is mandatory.

Preferred Experience

Compensation and Benefits
