Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct comprehensive assessments of patients to determine their physical capabilities, needs, and potential barriers to recovery.
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans aimed at alleviating pain, promoting mobility, and restoring physical function.
  • Direct physical therapy sessions, utilizing a range of therapeutic modalities including manual therapy, therapeutic exercises, and physical agent modalities.
  • Supervise, train, and mentor Physical Therapy Assistants in the effective delivery of treatment as stipulated in the plan of care.
  • Evaluate and modify treatment plans based on patient progress, ensuring optimal outcomes are achieved.
  • Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team during case conferences to create and evaluate total treatment plans.
  • Maintain meticulous clinical records, including evaluations, progress notes, and discharge summaries, while ensuring compliance with documentation standards.
  • Provide education and training to patients and their families on the physical therapy process, equipment utilization, and home exercise programs.
  • Ensure timely communication with referring physicians regarding patient status and recommendations for further care.
Patient Population / Client Focus

Compensation and Benefits
