Key Responsibilities

• Assess patients' physical capabilities and limitations through comprehensive evaluations, determining appropriate intervention strategies.
• Develop detailed treatment plans tailored to individual patient needs, integrating functional goals that align with their lifestyle and recovery expectations.
• Implement therapeutic exercises, modalities, and other evidence-based techniques in coordination with patient conditions to foster optimal recovery.
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation in our electronic medical records (EMR) system regarding treatment progress, modifications, and patient communications.
• Collaborate with referring physicians to ensure a multidisciplinary approach to patient care, actively discussing treatment outcomes and any necessary adjustments.
• Provide education and support for patients and their families, facilitating an understanding of treatment processes and fostering adherence to home exercise programs.
• Conduct regular evaluations of patient progress, adjusting treatment plans based on evidence and patient feedback to facilitate continuous improvement.
• Adhere strictly to all federal and state regulations governing physical therapy practice, maintaining professional standards and ethics.

Patient Population / Client Focus

You will primarily serve patients recovering from orthopedic surgeries, injuries, or chronic conditions that affect their mobility. This may include working with populations requiring rehabilitation following joint replacements, sports injuries, fractures, or degenerative diseases. You will utilize your understanding of orthopedic assessment and treatment techniques to tailor interventions aimed at improving functional mobility and patient outcomes.

Qualifications

• A Bachelor's Degree in Physical Therapy or a related field is required.
• An active state license to practice physical therapy in New Jersey is mandatory.
• A minimum of two (2) years of clinical experience in orthopedic settings is essential, demonstrating proficiency in treatment principles and methodologies.
• Strong communication and organizational skills, with an ability to effectively collaborate with an interdisciplinary team.
• Problem-solving skills with a keen ability to assess patient conditions and adapt treatment plans pragmatically.

Preferred Experience

• Advanced coursework or certifications in orthopedic physical therapy techniques or manual therapy approaches.
• Experience with electronic medical record systems and practice management software.

Compensation and Benefits

This full-time position offers a competitive salary range of USD 110,000 – 130,000 yearly, complemented by a performance-based bonus structure. We offer a comprehensive benefits package, including:
