Work Environment

This position is based onsite at our rehabilitation facility, where our team delivers personalized outpatient care. The work schedule is from 9 AM to 5 PM, Monday through Friday, ensuring a balanced work-life routine for our staff.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough assessments of patients, identify individual needs, and develop tailored treatment plans that align with their personal goals.
• Manage a reasonable patient caseload, dedicating ample time to each patient to ensure high-quality care and effective rehabilitation.
• Implement evidence-based practices in orthopedic outpatient care, utilizing diverse treatment modalities to facilitate optimal recovery.
• Instruct patients in effective exercises and rehabilitative techniques to enhance mobility, strength, and functional independence.
• Encourage and motivate patients throughout their rehabilitation process, fostering a positive and supportive treatment environment.
• Maintain accurate and comprehensive documentation of patient progress and treatment outcomes to ensure continuity of care.
• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals, such as physicians, occupational therapists, and nutritionists, to create holistic treatment strategies.
• Regularly evaluate patient progress and modify treatment plans as necessary to achieve desired outcomes.
• Engage in ongoing professional development and training to stay current with best practices and advancements in physical therapy.

Patient Population / Client Focus

You will work primarily with patients recovering from orthopedic injuries, surgical interventions, and chronic conditions that affect mobility. Our focus on comprehensive rehabilitation emphasizes non-surgical treatments and patient-centered care, which help minimize reliance on medications while promoting active living.

Qualifications

• A Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) from an accredited institution.
• An active and unencumbered Physical Therapist license in the state of Virginia.
• Strong clinical skills in manual therapy techniques and rehabilitation methodologies.
• Proficiency in using Electronic Medical Records (EMR) software, especially Web PT, for accurate documentation and patient management.

Preferred Experience

• Several years of experience as a Physical Therapist in an outpatient setting, with a solid background in orthopedic care.

• Experience in a multidisciplinary healthcare team, demonstrating excellent collaboration and communication skills.

Compensation and Benefits
