Convivial Physical Therapy is seeking a dedicated and experienced Physical Therapist to join our dynamic team at our rehabilitation facility located in Metuchen, New Jersey. Key Responsibilities- Conduct evaluations to assess patient needs and develop tailored treatment plans based on physician referrals.
- Implement treatment protocols across various specialties, including orthopedic rehabilitation, pediatric therapy, neurologic interventions, and sports medicine.
- Deliver skilled therapeutic care both in clinic environments and through home healthcare visits, ensuring alignment with the prescribed treatment plans.
- Utilize evidence-based practices to enhance patient recovery, consistently striving to optimize outcomes and improve functionality.
- Provide patient education, train caregivers, and empower individuals with the knowledge to maintain their health and recovery post-therapy.
- Engage in active communication and teamwork with colleagues and other healthcare professionals, contributing to comprehensive patient care.
- Achieve performance-related benchmarks and other operational objectives to support the overall success of the practice.
You will have the opportunity to work with a diverse patient population, including children, athletes, and individuals recovering from surgery or injury. Qualifications- A Doctorate degree in Physical Therapy (DPT) from an accredited institution.
- Active state licensure as a Doctor of Physical Therapy, conferred by the Physical Therapy Examining Committee.
- A minimum of two (2) years of experience in a clinical setting.
- Current certification in CPR.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills that foster effective interaction with patients and team members.
- Proficient computer and documentation skills, supporting efficient patient record management.
- Experience in community engagement and patient outreach, enhancing the visibility of physical therapy services in the locality.
- A history of building and maintaining collaborative relationships within multidisciplinary teams.
- Demonstrated success in achieving high patient satisfaction ratings and exceeding functional recovery goals.
