Work Environment

This position is strictly onsite within our rehabilitation facility located in Alexandria, Virginia. Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough patient assessments and clinical evaluations to determine individual needs, setting the stage for tailored therapeutic interventions.
• Develop and implement personalized care plans in coordination with physicians and the wider care team, ensuring alignment with each patient's goals and preferences.
• Perform hands-on therapeutic interventions and provide education on necessary home exercises and tools to maximize patient recovery.
• Coordinate patient caseloads effectively, prioritize tasks, and ensure seamless communication among team members regarding patient care progress.
• Provide ongoing support and guidance to patients and their families about the therapeutic processes, enhancing their understanding of treatment protocols.
• Utilize evidence-based practices to evaluate and adjust care plans as necessary, ensuring optimal recovery trajectories and positive outcomes.

Qualifications

• A valid license to practice physical therapy in the state of Virginia.

• Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS) certification must be obtained within the first 30 days of employment.
