Key Responsibilities

• Evaluate patients referred by physicians, developing individualized treatment plans that address their specific needs and goals.
• Implement evidence-based treatment procedures while maintaining thorough documentation of patient progress and outcomes.
• Utilize advanced techniques to provide therapeutic care, including manual therapy, exercise prescription, and patient education.
• Assist in the rehabilitation of various patient populations, ensuring personalized attention and care for unique cases.
• Demonstrate exemplary customer service, contributing to a positive experience for every patient.
• Engage in collaborative healthcare efforts with multidisciplinary teams to optimize patient outcomes.
• Educate patients and their caregivers about therapeutic procedures and how to maintain health and wellness at home.

Patient Population / Client Focus

This role will immerse you in a diverse patient community, including individuals requiring orthopedic rehabilitation, pediatric therapy, neurological intervention, and sports medicine support. You will have the opportunity to work with patients of all ages and backgrounds, making a significant impact on their recovery journeys.

Qualifications

• A Doctorate degree in Physical Therapy (DPT) is required.
• State Licensure in Physical Therapy is necessary to practice in Florida.
• At least two years of relevant experience in a clinical setting is essential.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association is mandatory.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills to effectively interact with patients and colleagues.
• Proficiency in word processing and familiarity with electronic health record (EHR) systems.
• Ability to establish strong rapport with patients, encouraging them to achieve their functional goals.
• A desire to positively engage and connect with patients and the local community.

Preferred Experience

• Experience in outpatient physical therapy settings, particularly working with specialized populations.
