Work Environment

The work schedule is Monday to Friday, from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m., providing a balanced work-life routine. Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct thorough assessments to identify patients' physical challenges and develop individualized treatment plans reflecting their unique needs.
  • Utilize diverse therapeutic modalities and exercise programs, ensuring that treatments are effective, safe, and cost-efficient.
  • Maintain a patient caseload of one individual per hour, delivering focused attention and care to each patient during their treatment sessions.
  • Implement and encourage evidence-based practices to minimize pain reliance, utilizing non-surgical interventions whenever possible.
  • Design personalized fitness and wellness programs tailored to the recovery needs and goals of each patient.
  • Motivate patients throughout their rehabilitation journeys, fostering their engagement and commitment to their recovery processes.
  • Document all services rendered accurately and in compliance with regulatory guidelines to ensure continuity of care and record-keeping.
  • Regularly evaluate patient progress and outcomes, adjusting treatment plans as necessary to reflect changes in their condition.
  • Collaborate with other healthcare team members to ensure integrated care and contribute to multidisciplinary treatment decisions.
Patient Population / Client Focus

Our facility primarily serves patients recovering from orthopedic injuries, surgeries, and chronic conditions affecting mobility and function. This includes a diverse demographic of individuals, ranging from athletes seeking rehabilitation after sports injuries to elderly patients recovering from joint replacements or managing chronic pain. As a Physical Therapist, your role will be integral in crafting individualized treatment pathways, ensuring that each patient receives the specific care and support they need to achieve their rehabilitation goals.

Qualifications
  • A Bachelor's degree in Physical Therapy is required; a Master's degree or Doctorate in Physical Therapy (MPT or DPT) is preferred.
  • Must possess a valid Physical Therapist license in the state of Florida with no history of board or disciplinary actions.
  • Proficiency in manual therapy techniques and experience in developing targeted exercise programs.
  • Familiarity with electronic medical records (EMR) systems, particularly WebPT, is advantageous.
Preferred Experience
  • Previous experience in orthopedic outpatient settings is strongly preferred to ensure you are equipped to meet the needs of our patients effectively.
  • Advanced knowledge of rehabilitation techniques and a strong understanding of the latest physical therapy practices.
Compensation and Benefits
