Work Environment

The position is based in our Ashburn rehabilitation center, where you will have the opportunity to work in a professional and supportive environment. Our facility is designed to empower therapists and provide patients with an optimal recovery experience. You will engage with a comprehensive team of healthcare professionals, collaborating to maximize patient outcomes through evidence-based care. The work schedule entails Monday to Friday, requiring a full 40-hour commitment weekly.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct thorough evaluations for patients referred from physicians, developing tailored treatment plans based on individual needs.
  • Implement effective rehabilitation strategies to address diverse patient requirements, including orthopedic, pediatric, neurologic, and sports medicine specific cases.
  • Demonstrate continuous exceptional customer service, ensuring that patient care remains at the forefront of our operations.
  • Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to enhance patient outcomes, relying on evidence-based practices throughout the treatment process.
  • Provide home health therapeutic care when necessary, utilizing established techniques to promote functional improvements according to the physician's care plan.
  • Educate and train patients and caregivers, ensuring they understand their treatment strategies and active roles in recovery.
  • Meet minimum utilization and business objectives while maintaining high standards of patient care.
Patient Population / Client Focus

You will work with a varied client base, treating patients from different backgrounds and conditions, including those recovering from major injuries, surgeries, or chronic health issues. Our focus on personalized care means you will build strong relationships with your patients, working closely with them to exceed their recovery goals and adapt treatment plans as necessary.

Qualifications
  • Doctorate degree in Physical Therapy (DPT) acquired from an accredited program.
  • Valid state license as a Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) awarded by the Physical Therapy Examining Committee.
  • Minimum of two (2) years of clinical experience in a relevant physical therapy setting.
  • Current CPR certification is required.
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, to effectively interact with patients, families, and team members.
  • Proficient in computer skills and word processing necessary for documentation and patient management.
  • Ambitious desire to build meaningful connections that help patients surpass their functional goals.
  • Ability to foster engaging relationships within the community, advocating for our services and patient care philosophy.
Preferred Experience

Compensation and Benefits
