Key Responsibilities

• Assess, plan, and implement personalized treatment programs for patients referred by physicians, ensuring up-to-date methods are used in accordance with established best practices.
• Develop therapeutic modalities specific to a variety of conditions such as orthopedic injuries, pediatric conditions, neurological disorders, and sports-related ailments.
• Exemplify outstanding customer service during patient interactions, contributing to a compassionate and supportive atmosphere within the clinic.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to maximize patient healing outcomes, utilizing evidence-based practices to inform treatment adjustments.
• Offer skilled therapeutic interventions both in our facility and through home visits, adhering to physician-directed plans of care.
• Provide comprehensive education to patients and their caregivers about treatment plans, emphasizing the importance of active participation in the recovery process.

Patient Population / Client Focus

The ideal candidate will work with a varied patient population, including adults and children, facing diverse physical challenges. Your role is crucial in guiding patients through their rehabilitation journey, enabling them to regain independence and improve their functional abilities.

Qualifications

• A Bachelor's degree from a CAPTE or APTA accredited physical therapy program.
• A valid State License in Physical Therapy is required, along with Basic Life Support Certification as recognized by the American Heart Association.
• Exceptional communication skills, both verbal and written, are essential to effectively engage with patients and team members.
• Proficiency in basic computer programs, including word processing and patient management systems, is necessary.
