Key Responsibilities

As a Physical Therapist, your day-to-day responsibilities will encompass:

  • Conducting initial consultations with patients to assess their physical conditions, symptoms, and rehabilitation goals.
  • Utilizing your expertise to accurately diagnose movement dysfunctions and developing tailored treatment plans to meet individual patient needs.
  • Implementing therapeutic exercise techniques and guiding patients through them, ensuring they understand and execute movements safely.
  • Providing hands-on therapies, including stimulation, massage, and other modalities that promote healing and improve mobility.
  • Assisting patients with mobility equipment such as wheelchairs, walkers, and other assistive devices, ensuring they can navigate their environments effectively.
  • Maintaining accurate and detailed patient records, setting measurable goals, and tracking progress over the course of treatment.
  • Educating patients and their families on in-home treatment strategies and exercises to support ongoing recovery post-therapy.
Patient Population / Client Focus

Our diverse patient population ranges from children to adults, encompassing a wide variety of conditions and diagnoses. You will have the opportunity to work with athletes recovering from injuries, older adults regaining strength after surgery, and individuals with chronic pain needing ongoing support.

Qualifications

To be successful as a Physical Therapist in our organization, candidates should possess:

  • A Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) degree from an accredited institution.
  • A valid state license to practice as a Physical Therapist.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills to effectively engage with patients and their families.
  • Proficient computer skills for maintaining electronic records and utilizing therapy software.
  • A flexible and adaptive approach to meet the varying needs of patients.
Preferred Experience

While not mandatory, candidates with prior experience in clinical settings, especially in rehabilitation or pediatrics, are preferred. A minimum of two years in the field is advantageous and will support patient care endeavors in our facility.
