Key Responsibilities

As a Physical Therapist at Broward Physical Therapy, your key responsibilities will include:

• Conducting comprehensive evaluations of patients' functional abilities through diagnostic tests, including muscle, nerve, joint assessments, and functional capacity evaluations.
• Assessing patients' home environments and making recommendations for adaptations to improve overall independence.
• Administering physical therapy techniques including manual therapy, therapeutic exercises, and modalities such as traction and massage.
• Fitting and recommending modifications for prosthetic and orthotic devices in collaboration with physicians.
• Maintaining accurate clinical documentation, including initial evaluations, care plans, and progress notes.
• Actively participating in interdisciplinary team meetings to evaluate treatment efficacy and adjust care plans.
• Educating patients and families on the use of therapy devices and overall care strategies.
• Completing all documentation and communication with adherence to branch policies and timelines.

Qualifications
