Work Environment

This role is based onsite at our state-of-the-art Rehabilitation Facility in Sayreville, NJ. Our facility is equipped with advanced therapeutic equipment and resources designed to facilitate optimal patient recovery. The working hours are flexible within Monday to Friday, allowing you to choose your hours to suit your personal commitments. Key Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive evaluations of patients' physical abilities, medical histories, and rehabilitation goals to craft individualized treatment plans tailored to support their recovery.
• Utilize a range of therapeutic techniques, including exercise therapy, manual therapy, modality treatments, and assistive device training to help patients manage pain and regain mobility.
• Maintain meticulous documentation of patient progress, treatment responses, and outcomes to inform ongoing adjustments to treatment strategies.
• Reevaluate patient progress at regular intervals, adjusting goals and therapy plans as needed to optimize recovery and rehabilitation.
• Educate patients and their caregivers on self-care techniques, the use of assistive devices, and overall health and wellness practices to ensure effective home-based recovery.
• Stay current with the latest developments in the field by attending workshops, participating in webinars, and engaging with professional organizations.

Patient Population / Client Focus

You will work closely with a diverse patient population, ranging from pediatric to geriatric clients, who present various diagnoses including orthopedic injuries, neurological conditions, and post-operative recovery. Your expertise and hands-on approach will directly impact their quality of life, aim to restore function, and encourage independence.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Physical Therapy or a Doctorate of Physical Therapy (DPT) from an accredited institution.
• Current Physical Therapy license in the State of New Jersey.
• Effective written and verbal communication skills, along with proficiency in electronic documentation.
• Ability to demonstrate advanced clinical knowledge and patient-centered care strategies.
• Demonstrated flexibility and adaptability in managing a diverse caseload.
• Current CPR certification to ensure the highest level of patient safety.

Preferred Experience

• A minimum of 2 years of experience as a Physical Therapist, with a proven track record in a rehabilitation or outpatient setting.
• Experience with various therapeutic modalities and techniques specific to physical therapy.
• Prior mentorship experience or interest in training newer therapists is a plus.

Compensation and Benefits
