Work Environment

The position is based onsite at our state-of-the-art rehabilitation facility in Immokalee, Florida. Your work will typically adhere to a Monday through Friday schedule, encompassing a 40-hour workweek, fostering a balanced work-life culture.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct comprehensive evaluations to assess patients' conditions and needs based on referrals from physicians.
  • Design and implement personalized treatment plans that reflect evidence-based practices to achieve optimal patient outcomes.
  • Utilize a wide range of therapeutic modalities in rehabilitation sessions, ensuring adherence to the physician's plan of care.
  • Provide patient education and training to help them understand their conditions and actively participate in their recovery.
  • Demonstrate excellent customer service skills to enhance the overall patient experience.
  • Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to establish treatment goals and contribute to patients' progress.
  • Meet or exceed established productivity targets and business objectives while maintaining the highest quality of care.
Patient Population / Client Focus

You will have the opportunity to work with a diverse patient demographic, treating individuals across various settings including orthopedic, pediatric, neurologic, and sports medicine cases. This variety allows for a rich and fulfilling practice experience while working to help patients from all walks of life overcome physical challenges and achieve recoveries.

Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree in Physical Therapy.
  • Active and valid state license to practice as a Physical Therapist (DPT) in Florida.
  • Completion of a Doctorate of Physical Therapy (DPT) program accredited by CAPTE or APTA.
  • Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from an accredited provider.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills with an ability to establish rapport with patients effectively.
Preferred Experience

Applicants should have at least two years of clinical experience in a rehabilitation setting. Previous exposure to a variety of case types, particularly in orthopedic or sports medicine environments, will be considered a strong asset. Familiarity with electronic medical records and practice management software is preferred.

Compensation and Benefits
