Work Environment

This position is performed onsite at our Middletown facility, where a collaborative and supportive work culture thrives. You will work closely with a team that includes two experienced physical therapists and one physical therapist assistant (PTA). The environment encourages sharing best practices, continuous learning, and personal growth, providing a dynamic setting for delivering patient care. Your work schedule will be Monday to Friday from 9 AM to 5 PM, allowing for a well-balanced work-life dynamic.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive assessments to identify patient needs and design individualized treatment plans focusing on mobility and rehabilitation goals.
• Provide one-on-one physical therapy sessions, managing a patient load of approximately one patient every hour.
• Utilize various therapeutic techniques and modalities to optimize patient recovery and functionality.
• Employ evidence-based practices to develop cost-effective treatment strategies that reduce reliance on medications and invasive surgical procedures.
• Monitor patient progress closely, adjusting treatment plans as necessary to achieve optimal outcomes.
• Document patient care accurately in compliance with organizational standards and EMR system requirements, particularly utilizing platforms like WebPT.
• Foster an encouraging atmosphere by motivating patients throughout their rehabilitation journey, emphasizing self-management and lifestyle adjustments.
• Collaborate seamlessly with other healthcare providers to ensure comprehensive patient care and holistic healing.

The primary patient population at Masuda Movement Rehab & Wellness Center includes individuals recovering from orthopedic surgeries, sports injuries, and chronic pain conditions. You will work with a diverse group of patients, tailoring treatment plans to meet their unique challenges and health aspirations. Your expertise will greatly contribute to enhancing their movement capabilities and overall quality of life.

Qualifications

• A Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) is required for this position.
• Candidates must possess a valid and active license to practice physical therapy in Middletown, Virginia.
• A clean record, free from board actions or disciplinary measures, is essential.
• Proven knowledge and skills in manual therapy techniques and exercise program development are preferred.
• Proficiency in utilizing electronic medical record (EMR) software, particularly WebPT, is an advantage.

Preferred Experience

• Previous experience working in an orthopedic outpatient setting is highly desirable.
• Experience in developing personalized fitness and wellness plans for diverse populations.
• A strong background in evidence-based intervention strategies that lead to positive patient outcomes.

Compensation and Benefits

This role offers a competitive salary ranging from USD 90,000 to 100,000 annually, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
