Work Environment

This full-time role is onsite within our state-of-the-art Rehabilitation Center in Spring Hill, Florida. The facility is designed to maximize patient comfort and recovery, featuring advanced therapeutic equipment and private treatment rooms. You will work alongside two other physical therapists and a physical therapist assistant (PTA) in a collaborative, patient-centered environment that emphasizes professionalism and teamwork.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct comprehensive assessments to identify patients' goals and needs, developing personalized treatment plans that address individual challenges.
  • Manage a patient caseload efficiently, typically treating one patient per hour to ensure focused and adequate care.
  • Utilize effective manual therapy techniques to enhance patient recovery and mobility.
  • Implement cost-effective treatment modalities aimed at improving range of motion, strength, and functional independence.
  • Education patients on lifestyle modifications that reduce reliance on medication and invasive surgical options whenever possible.
  • Create personalized fitness and wellness programs that account for the unique circumstances and goals of each patient.
  • Monitor and document patient progress meticulously, employing electronic medical record (EMR) systems, specifically WebPT, to maintain accurate records.
  • Maintain open lines of communication with patients throughout their treatment to motivate and empower them in their rehabilitation journey.
  • Collaborate with other healthcare providers to ensure a synchronized approach to each patient's care.
  • Evaluate treatment outcomes regularly to adjust plans as necessary and sustain high standards of care.
Patient Population / Client Focus

You will primarily work with orthopedic patients recovering from surgeries, injuries, and chronic conditions. Your focus will be on ensuring patients can return to their desired activities, whether that involves sports, work, or everyday tasks. You will have the opportunity to build meaningful relationships, as effective communication is a cornerstone of our care philosophy.

Qualifications
  • Master's or Doctorate degree in Physical Therapy (DPT) from an accredited institution.
  • Valid physical therapy license in the state of Florida, maintaining a clean professional record.
  • Strong proficiency in manual therapy techniques along with excellent skills in developing customized exercise protocols.
  • Experience in orthopedic outpatient settings is preferred.
  • Proficiency in using EMR software, particularly WebPT, to enhance administrative efficiency.
Preferred Experience
  • A minimum of 1-2 years of clinical experience in an outpatient orthopedic setting is preferred.
  • Demonstrated ability to implement evidence-based treatment techniques effectively and modify interventions based on patient feedback and progress.
  • Strong interpersonal skills that foster positive patient relationships and enhance team collaboration.
Compensation and Benefits
