Work Environment

This position requires you to work onsite, interacting directly with patients in their home environments. Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct thorough assessments of patients with various orthopedic issues, determining their functional limitations and treatment needs.
  • Design individualized treatment plans that incorporate evidence-based practices to enhance recovery and rehabilitation outcomes.
  • Utilize state-of-the-art therapeutic modalities and techniques, including manual therapy, exercise programs, and modalities like ultrasound or electrical stimulation, to facilitate healing and strength building.
  • Regularly monitor and document patient progress, adjusting treatment strategies as necessary to ensure optimal outcomes.
  • Collaborate with an interdisciplinary team, including doctors, nurses, and other healthcare providers, to deliver integrated patient care.
  • Educate patients and their families on injury prevention, home exercises, and lifestyle adjustments to enhance the rehabilitation process.
  • Participate in team meetings and clinical discussions to continually refine and enhance our therapeutic methodologies.
Patient Population / Client Focus

You will primarily work with individuals recovering from surgical procedures, sports injuries, and chronic orthopedic conditions, addressing a diverse range of physical therapy needs. Our clientele includes individuals of all ages, from athletes to seniors, ensuring that your caseload will involve various treatment scenarios requiring personalized care approaches.

Qualifications
  • A Master's Degree or Doctorate in Physical Therapy from an accredited institution.
  • Active state licensure as a Physical Therapist in New Jersey.
  • A minimum of 2 years' experience in a clinical setting, with a focus on orthopedic physical therapy.
  • Strong assessment, treatment planning, and clinical reasoning skills.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal abilities to foster strong patient relationships.
Preferred Experience

Compensation and Benefits
