Work Environment

This position is based onsite in our Ashburn clinic, where you will work closely with fellow therapists, physicians, and support staff to develop comprehensive treatment plans. Key Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive patient assessments to identify individual needs, challenges, and goals for physical recovery.
• Develop and implement personalized treatment plans utilizing a combination of therapeutic techniques, including manual therapy and exercise prescription.
• Maintain a manageable caseload, ensuring that each patient receives attentive, individualized care during their therapy sessions.
• Utilize cost-effective treatment modalities aimed at improving patient outcomes and minimizing reliance on surgical interventions.
• Document all physical therapy services accurately using electronic medical records (EMR), particularly through WebPT, to track patient progress and compliance.
• Regularly evaluate and adjust therapy interventions based on ongoing assessment and recovery milestones.
• Educate patients on exercises and activities to maintain strength and manage their conditions effectively outside of therapy sessions.
• Actively collaborate with other healthcare professionals to provide integrated patient care.
• Motivate and support patients psychologically, emphasizing a positive mindset during their rehabilitation journey.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Your role will focus primarily on orthopedic outpatient care, serving a diverse patient population that includes individuals recovering from sports injuries, post-operative rehabilitation, and those with chronic pain conditions. You will have the opportunity to work with patients ranging from young athletes to active seniors, each with specific recovery goals and needs.

Qualifications

• A completed Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) from an accredited institution.
• Active Physical Therapist license in Virginia with no history of sanctions or disciplinary actions.
• Strong knowledge and practical experience in various manual therapy techniques and orthopedic rehabilitation.
• Demonstrated ability to create and implement effective exercise programs tailored to individual patient needs.
• Proficiency in using EMR systems, especially WebPT, for clinical documentation and patient management.

Preferred Experience

• A minimum of two years of clinical experience in a physical therapy setting is required.
• Experience in sports rehabilitation or a similar outpatient environment is highly preferred.
• Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, with a proven ability to motivate and engage patients.

Compensation and Benefits

We offer a competitive salary ranging from USD 80,000 to 100,000 annually, dependent on experience and qualifications.
