Work EnvironmentThis position is based onsite at our rehabilitation facility in Keyport, a welcoming and supportive environment designed to make healing a positive journey. We emphasize teamwork and collaboration across disciplines to maximize patient outcomes. Our state-of-the-art facility includes advanced therapeutic equipment, allowing our therapists to implement the latest methodologies in patient care. Working hours are Monday to Friday, resulting in a balanced professional life.
Key ResponsibilitiesAs a Physical Therapist at Sollis Physical Therapy, you will be responsible for:
- Conducting detailed evaluations and assessments of patients to create individualized treatment plans tailored to their specific needs.
- Implementing evidence-based therapeutic interventions in collaboration with both patients and referring physicians.
- Administering a variety of physical therapy modalities, including manual therapy, exercise interventions, and functional training.
- Maintaining comprehensive patient records and documentation in compliance with industry regulations, ensuring quality assurance and effective communication.
- Delivering exceptional customer service, ensuring that your interactions promote positive patient experiences and outcomes.
- Monitoring patient progress and adjusting treatment plans as necessary to promote optimal recovery.
- Providing education and training to patients and their families to facilitate understanding and adherence to the rehabilitation process.
- Participating in team meetings and collaborative discussions to share insights and enhance therapeutic practices.

QualificationsThe ideal candidate will meet the following qualifications:
- A valid Doctorate degree in Physical Therapy (DPT) from an accredited institution.
- A full state license as a Doctor of Physical Therapy, as mandated by the Physical Therapy Examining Committee.
- A minimum of two (2) years of clinical experience in a physical therapy setting, demonstrating proficiency in patient assessments and treatment methodologies.
- Current CPR certification, ensuring preparedness for any emergency situation.
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, crucial for effective patient interaction and documentation.
- Proficiency in electronic documentation and practice management software, enhancing efficiency in patient care.
- Strong interpersonal skills to build lasting relationships with patients and their families, enabling their journey toward recovery.
- A positive attitude with a genuine desire to connect with and support patients and the community.
While not mandatory, the following experiences are preferred:
- Previous work within a multi-disciplinary team, fostering collaboration for enhanced patient care.
- Specific training or certifications in specialized rehabilitation techniques.
