Work Environment

The center features a comprehensive sports medicine facility spanning 5,000 square feet, designed to facilitate advanced rehabilitation techniques and exercises. The onsite setting allows for direct patient care where you will collaborate closely with other therapists and assist staff to deliver exceptional support. The work schedule is Monday to Friday from 9 AM to 5 PM, providing a structured work-life balance.

Key Responsibilities

• Assess and formulate individualized treatment plans aimed at achieving optimal patient outcomes through methods including manual therapy, therapeutic exercises, and education.
• Provide one-on-one patient care, managing a caseload of individual patients on an hourly basis to address their specific needs and goals.
• Utilize various assessment tools and clinical knowledge to evaluate patient progress, documenting all care and updates in compliance with best practices.
• Implement evidence-based interventions that reduce pain, improve range of motion, and promote functional independence.
• Motivate and guide patients through their rehabilitation journey, offering encouragement and tracking progress on their path to recovery.
• Engage in interdisciplinary collaborations with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to deliver comprehensive care.
• Contribute to team meetings, discussing patient outcomes, potential treatment modifications, and sharing best practices among colleagues.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Our practice primarily serves patients recovering from orthopedic injuries and surgeries, including joint replacements, sports injuries, and chronic pain conditions. We focus on delivering tailored rehabilitation solutions that empower our patients to regain strength, flexibility, and mobility. The practice is well-equipped to handle a diverse range of cases, ensuring each patient's unique circumstances and goals are met with personalized care.

Qualifications

• A Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) is required.
• A valid Florida license to practice as a Physical Therapist is essential.
• A clean professional record with no disciplinary actions against your license.
• Demonstrated knowledge and proficiency in manual therapy techniques and orthopedic rehabilitation.
• Competence in developing and executing individualized exercise protocols based on patient-specific evaluations.
• Familiarity with WebPT EMR software is highly advantageous.

Preferred Experience

• Prior experience working in an orthopedic outpatient physical therapy setting.
• Skills in using therapeutic modalities and specialized equipment for rehabilitation.
• Effective communication abilities to liaise with patients and their families regarding treatment plans and progress.

Compensation and Benefits

The position offers a competitive salary range of USD 100,000 to 120,000 annually, commensurate with experience, alongside a comprehensive benefits package that includes health insurance, paid time off, and continuing education allowances.
