Work Environment

This position is based onsite at our state-of-the-art rehabilitation facility, which is designed to foster a welcoming and supportive atmosphere. Equipped with modern therapeutic tools and technologies, our center allows you to provide high-quality care while working closely with patients in various stages of recovery. You will typically work Monday through Friday, from 8 AM to 5 PM, giving you a balanced work-life schedule.

Key Responsibilities

• Assess and understand the individual objectives and requirements of each patient to develop personalized treatment plans.
• Administer therapy sessions with a focus on improving patients' functional abilities, with a standard load of one patient per hour.
• Utilize a variety of therapeutic techniques to enhance mobility and range of motion while minimizing reliance on medication and invasive procedures.
• Design and implement comprehensive fitness and wellness programs tailored to address specific patient needs.
• Deliver personalized, high-quality care informed by the latest research and therapeutic methodologies.
• Foster motivation and maintain open lines of communication with patients throughout their treatment journey.
• Collaborate with an interdisciplinary team of healthcare professionals to formulate cohesive care strategies.
• Evaluate treatment outcomes, monitor patient progress, and document all services accurately to maintain high standards of care.

Patient Population / Client Focus

You will work primarily with patients recovering from orthopedic injuries, surgeries, or chronic conditions, necessitating targeted rehabilitation interventions and supportive care. Our diverse patient population includes individuals of all ages, requiring a flexible and adaptive approach to each unique case.

Qualifications

• A Bachelor's degree in Physical Therapy; a Master's or Doctorate degree (MPT or DPT) is preferred.
• A valid license to practice as a Physical Therapist in the state of Florida, with no record of board or disciplinary actions.
• Strong proficiency in manual therapy techniques and the ability to design and implement effective exercise programs.
• Familiarity with electronic medical record (EMR) systems, preferably WebPT, for accurate documentation and patient tracking.

Preferred Experience

• Experience working in an orthopedic outpatient setting is highly desirable.
• Demonstrated ability to develop individualized treatment plans and effective rehabilitation protocols.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills to engage and motivate patients.

Compensation and Benefits
