Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans aimed at improving mobility, strength, and functionality for each patient.
  • Guide patients through therapeutic exercises, stretches, and functional activities tailored to their specific recovery goals.
  • Educate patients on proper body mechanics, exercise techniques, and at-home exercise programs to empower them in their recovery journey.
  • Administer various modalities such as electrical stimulation, ultrasound, and heat/cold therapy under the supervision of experienced Physical Therapists.
  • Monitor and document patient progress meticulously, tracking improvements in range of motion and overall functional enhancement.
  • Prepare treatment areas and ensure that all necessary equipment and supplies are organized and readily available for each therapy session.
  • Collaborate effectively with an interdisciplinary team, including Occupational Therapists and Speech-Language Pathologists, to coordinate comprehensive care plans for patients.
  • Provide emotional support and encouragement to patients, fostering a motivating rehabilitation environment that aids their recovery.
  • Uphold ethical and professional standards, ensuring patient confidentiality and respect for rights and privacy.
Patient Population / Client Focus

You will work with a diverse range of patient demographics including individuals recovering from surgeries, those managing chronic conditions, and athletes seeking to enhance their performance. Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited institution.
  • Active license to practice as a Physical Therapist in the state of Illinois.

Compensation and Benefits
