Located in a modern 5000 square feet facility, our center integrates cutting-edge technology and a holistic approach to health. Our collaborative environment fosters learning and development, where you'll work alongside a dedicated team of two experienced physical therapists and one Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA). We primarily serve patients with private medical insurance, emphasizing personalized treatment strategies and evidence-based practices.

Work Environment

Our rehab center offers a welcoming and supportive work atmosphere where teamwork and communication are highly valued. The position requires an onsite presence during standard business hours from Monday to Friday, 9 AM to 5 PM. The facility is designed with state-of-the-art equipment to ensure that our therapists can deliver the highest standard of care. Collaboration among team members is key; therefore, engagement and interaction with colleagues are part of daily operations.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough patient assessments to understand individual needs and formulate effective treatment plans tailored for optimal recovery.
• Implement a variety of manual therapy techniques and therapeutic exercises to enhance patient mobility and reduce discomfort.
• Manage an efficient patient care schedule, typically treating one patient per hour, while ensuring the quality of interactions and care.
• Develop comprehensive exercise regimens and wellness programs, focusing on improving strength, flexibility, balance, and coordination.
• Document all patient interactions and treatment plans using EMR software such as WebPT, ensuring compliance and accuracy in healthcare records.
• Monitor patient progress regularly, adjusting treatment plans as necessary to adapt to evolving needs.
• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to create a multidisciplinary approach to patient care, enhancing overall treatment outcomes.
• Provide education and motivation to patients regarding their rehabilitation journey, supporting them in achieving their functional goals.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Your primary focus will be to serve a diverse clientele consisting of individuals recovering from orthopedic surgeries, injuries, or chronic conditions. Our patients benefit from compassionate care that emphasizes personal growth and motivation. Many of them come to us seeking alternatives to surgery or medication; therefore, your role as a therapist encompasses not only physical recovery but also enhancing their overall wellness and lifestyle choices.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Physical Therapy or higher (Doctorate in Physical Therapy preferred).
• Licensed Physical Therapist in California (or eligibility to obtain licensure).
• Strong understanding and practical skills in manual therapy techniques and orthopedic rehabilitation strategies.
• Exceptional communication skills to effectively engage with patients and a multidisciplinary team.
• Commitment to ongoing professional development and staying abreast of the latest clinical practices and therapies.

Preferred Experience

• Prior experience working in an orthopedic outpatient therapy setting.
• Demonstrated ability to develop and implement effective patient-specific treatment plans.
• Proficiency in using electronic medical record (EMR) systems, preferably WebPT.

Compensation and Benefits

We offer a competitive salary range of USD 100,000 to 120,000 per year, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
