Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough evaluations and assessments of patients' functional limitations, identifying key areas for intervention.

• Develop individualized treatment plans that utilize evidence-based protocols, aligning with state practice acts and safety regulations.

• Implement appropriate therapeutic interventions and techniques, adapting strategies as necessary based on patient progression and needs.

• Document evaluations, treatment plans, and patient progress meticulously to maintain clarity and compliance within our evolving healthcare environment.

• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team of healthcare professionals to optimize patient outcomes through effective communication and joint decision-making.

• Engage in patient education, empowering them with knowledge about their conditions and treatment goals, fostering adherence to prescribed regimens.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Your role will predominantly focus on outpatient orthopedic clients, ranging from post-operative rehabilitation to individuals with chronic pain or sports injuries. Our practice emphasizes personalized care, which allows you to make significant impacts on patients' functional independence and overall well-being. Your efforts will be crucial in guiding them through their rehabilitation journeys, supporting them every step of the way.

Qualifications

• Doctorate of Physical Therapy (DPT) from an accredited physical therapy program.

• A valid state license to practice as a DPT in New Jersey.

• Current CPR certification that ensures readiness for potential emergencies.

Preferred Experience

• Minimum of two (2) years of experience in outpatient orthopedic rehabilitation, demonstrating sound clinical judgment and proficiency in treatment protocols.

• Comfortable using electronic medical record (EMR) systems for documentation and patient management.

Compensation and Benefits
