Work Environment

This role is based onsite in our modern rehabilitation facility in Brookfield, Connecticut. You will collaborate with a team of experienced professionals, including two other Physical Therapists and a Physical Therapy Assistant (PTA). Key Responsibilities

• Assess and address patient needs and objectives through thorough evaluations and consultations.
• Manage a patient load of approximately two individuals per hour, providing focused attention and care.
• Implement targeted therapies that increase patients' range of motion and mobility while minimizing reliance on medications.
• Develop comprehensive treatment plans incorporating a variety of therapeutic techniques tailored to individual patient needs.
• Create personalized fitness and wellness programs aimed at improving overall health and rehabilitation outcomes.
• Utilize your proficiency in manual therapy techniques for effective treatment interventions.
• Encourage patients throughout their treatment journey, providing motivation and support to enhance functional progress.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive patient care and treatment strategies.
• Monitor and evaluate patient progress, documenting all services accurately in our Electronic Medical Record (EMR) system, such as WebPT.
• Stay informed of the latest developments in physical therapy and incorporate best practices into your patient care approaches.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Our rehabilitation facility predominantly focuses on treating patients with orthopedic conditions, including post-operative recovery, sports injuries, and chronic pain management. You will work with various demographics, including active adults and senior patients, allowing you to leverage your expertise in tailoring interventions according to the unique needs of each individual. Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Physical Therapy.
• License to practice as a Physical Therapist in Brookfield, Connecticut.
• No records of board or disciplinary actions on your license.
• Proficiency in manual therapy techniques and exercise program design is essential.
• Strong familiarity with EMR software, particularly WebPT, is required.

Preferred Experience

• A minimum of two years of experience as a Physical Therapist, specifically in orthopedic outpatient settings.
• Demonstrated success in facilitating patient recovery through individualized treatment plans.
• Experience working with an established team in a rehabilitation facility preferred.

Compensation and Benefits

This full-time position offers a competitive annual salary ranging from USD 100,000 to 120,000, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
