Spring Mountain Physical Therapy is seeking a full-time Physical Therapist to join our dynamic team at our state-of-the-art rehabilitation facility in Ashburn, Virginia. Work Environment

This position is set in a bustling outpatient clinic that serves a variety of patients ranging from athletes recovering from sports injuries to individuals rehabilitating post-surgery. The clinic operates onsite, allowing for direct interaction with patients and seamless collaboration with a team of healthcare professionals. The work schedule is Monday through Friday, from 9 AM to 5 PM, providing a balanced approach to work and personal life.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive evaluations of patients to assess their physical abilities and limitations, followed by creating tailored treatment plans to address their specific goals and functional capabilities.
• Administer hands-on therapeutic interventions, including manual therapy, therapeutic exercises, and modalities, to enhance patient mobility and relieve pain.
• Maintain an efficient and manageable patient caseload, ensuring each patient receives individualized attention and quality care during their rehabilitation journey.
• Educate patients on self-management strategies and lifestyle modifications that promote recovery and overall well-being.
• Regularly track and document patients' progress using EMR software, particularly Web PT, to ensure accurate records and continuity of care.
• Engage in ongoing communication with physicians and other healthcare providers to collaboratively optimize treatment outcomes.
• Lead group sessions focused on physical fitness and wellness programs designed to enhance strength, flexibility, and coordination.
• Review and adjust treatment plans based on patient feedback and ongoing assessment results to maximize effectiveness.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Our clinic focuses on a broad spectrum of patients, including active individuals, seniors recovering from surgeries, and those seeking pain management solutions without invasive procedures. Our approach emphasizes empowering clients by educating and motivating them to take an active role in their recovery process.

Qualifications

• A Bachelor's Degree in Physical Therapy is a minimum requirement; however, the preference will be given to candidates who have completed a Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) program.
• Must possess a valid and active Physical Therapist license in the state of Virginia, with no history of disciplinary actions.
• Proven experience in outpatient orthopedic care is highly desired, with a strong understanding of various therapeutic modalities.
• Ability to effectively utilize EMR software for documentation, enhancing accuracy and efficiency in patient records.
• Exceptional interpersonal skills to build rapport with patients and collaborate effectively with other healthcare professionals.

Preferred Experience

• Experience in a sports medicine facility or similar setting where a focus on rehabilitation and performance enhancement is present.
• Knowledge of advanced manual therapy techniques and patient-centered therapeutic interventions.
• Demonstrated success in developing comprehensive wellness and exercise programs tailored to diverse populations.

Compensation and Benefits

This full-time position offers a competitive annual salary in the range of USD 80,000 to 100,000, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
