Key Responsibilities

• Utilize a range of therapeutic techniques including exercise regimens, stretching, hands-on therapies, and specialized equipment to alleviate pain and enhance mobility.
• Monitor and document patient progress meticulously, adjusting treatment plans and therapeutic goals as needed to ensure optimal recovery.
• Educate patients and their families on therapy exercises, self-care techniques, and the proper use of any assistive devices.
• Coordinate care with other healthcare professionals to optimize the patient experience and outcomes.
• Maintain current knowledge and skills through ongoing professional education, attending workshops, and engaging with professional communities.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Our patients range from pediatric to geriatric individuals facing various health challenges. You will engage with patients recovering from orthopedic surgery, neurological disorders, sports injuries, and chronic pain, among other conditions. Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Physical Therapy required; Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) preferred.
• Active and valid physical therapy license in the State of Virginia.
