Work Environment

This role is based onsite in our state-of-the-art rehabilitation facility designed with a focus on patient comfort and care. Spanning 5,000 square feet, our facility features modern treatment areas, rehabilitation equipment, and resources that foster an engaging and effective therapy environment. Working alongside a team of experienced professionals, including two other physical therapists, you will contribute to a collaborative atmosphere dedicated to improving patient outcomes and satisfaction. Our flexible Monday through Friday schedule from 9 AM to 5 PM allows for work-life balance, ensuring you can provide the best possible care without compromising your personal commitments.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive assessments of patients to identify individual needs, goals, and limitations.
• Develop and implement personalized treatment plans based on the latest evidence-based practices.
• Provide hands-on therapy sessions, seeing one patient every 40 minutes, allowing for focused and individualized care.
• Utilize a variety of treatment techniques and modalities to improve patients' motion and mobility, with a focus on cost-effective alternatives to medication and surgery.
• Educate and motivate patients throughout the treatment process, promoting proactive engagement in their recovery journey.
• Monitor and document each patient's progress accurately, making adjustments to care plans as necessary.
• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive care and management of patient needs.
• Promote a culture of wellness by developing tailored fitness and wellness programs that enhance strength, flexibility, balance, and coordination.
• Utilize our Athena Health EMR system for efficient documentation and patient care management.

Patient Population / Client Focus

At Gotham Enterprises Ltd, we primarily serve athletes and other patients requiring physical therapy for strength improvement, balance restoration, and mobility enhancement. Our clientele includes individuals covered by commercial insurance as well as private pay patients, allowing us to deliver personalized care to a diverse range of individuals. The collaborative environment with experienced peers enhances the quality of care provided, ensuring each patient receives the necessary attention and expertise tailored to their unique rehabilitation needs.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited institution.
• Valid license to practice Physical Therapy in the state of Florida.
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in an outpatient setting, specializing in orthopedic rehabilitation.
• Strong interpersonal skills, with the ability to connect with patients of varying backgrounds and personalities.
• Current knowledge of physical therapy practices and a commitment to continuous professional development.
• Professional demeanor with effective communication and documentation skills.

Preferred Experience

• Advanced Clinical Competence in orthopedic physical therapy.
• Experience in developing innovative treatment protocols.
• Familiarity with EMR systems, particularly Athena Health.
• Expertise in creating fitness and wellness programs.
• Demonstrated ability to mentor less experienced staff or interns.

Compensation and Benefits

The compensation for this role ranges from $80,000 to $95,000 per year, commensurate with the candidate's experience and qualifications. In addition, you will benefit from a comprehensive benefits package that includes:
