Key Responsibilities

As an Orthopedic Physical Therapist, your primary responsibilities will include:

• Conducting comprehensive evaluations of patients to determine their physical condition and rehabilitation needs.
• Developing individualized treatment plans that incorporate a variety of therapeutic modalities, such as exercise sequences, manual therapy techniques, and assistive devices.
• Implementing and adjusting treatment plans based on patient responses, rehabilitation goals, and progress monitoring.
• Documenting treatment procedures, patient responses, and outcomes in compliance with healthcare regulations.
• Providing education and training to patients, their families, and caregivers regarding home exercise programs, proper body mechanics, and use of mobility aids.
• Engaging in continuous professional development through attending workshops, reading current literature, and networking with peers.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Our therapy services cater to a diverse patient population, including children and adults facing a range of orthopedic conditions. You will work specifically with patients recovering from orthopedic surgeries, such as joint replacements or fracture repairs, as well as those dealing with chronic conditions like arthritis or sports-related injuries. Qualifications

All candidates must possess the following qualifications:

• A Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) from an accredited institution.
• Current state licensure or eligibility for licensure in New Jersey.

• Proficiency in using electronic medical records and basic computer applications.
