Position Overview

Tri-County Physical Therapy is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Orthopedic Physical Therapist to join our team in Chantilly, Virginia. Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct comprehensive evaluations of a diverse patient population referred by physicians, developing tailored treatment plans based on clinical findings.
  • Implement evidence-based therapeutic interventions to promote recovery and improve functional outcomes for patients, while maintaining open lines of communication with the healthcare team.
  • Document patient progress accurately and timely, ensuring adherence to state regulations and organization policies.
  • Provide education and training to patients and their families, empowering them with knowledge about their conditions and promoting self-management strategies.
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to create holistic treatment plans that address the diverse needs of each patient.

Patient Population / Client Focus

This position primarily involves working with patients undergoing rehabilitation for orthopedic injuries, but you will also have the opportunity to treat a variety of populations, including pediatric, neurologic, and sports medicine patients. Your role will be vital in facilitating their recovery process and maximizing their potential for functional independence.

Qualifications
  • A Bachelor's degree in Physical Therapy from an APTA or CAPTE-accredited program.
  • A valid State License in Physical Therapy.
  • Current Basic Life Support Certification from the American Heart Association.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to build positive relationships with patients and families.
  • Proficiency in computer skills and electronic documentation.
Preferred Experience

While we welcome recent graduates, candidates with prior experience in orthopedic physical therapy will be given preference.
