Masuda Movement Rehab & Wellness Center is actively seeking a dedicated and passionate Physical Therapist to join our orthopedic outpatient team in Spokane, Washington. In this full-time role, you will be instrumental in helping patients restore their functional abilities, improve their mobility, and enhance their overall quality of life. You will provide tailored treatment programs that leverage both evidence-based practices and innovative therapeutic techniques.
About the OrganizationAt Masuda Movement Rehab & Wellness Center, we specialize in delivering exceptional care within a state-of-the-art sports medicine facility spanning 5,000 square feet. Our focus is primarily on patients with private medical insurance, ensuring that they receive comprehensive rehabilitation services tailored to their specific needs. Our collaborative team of two Physical Therapists and one Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) fosters a supportive environment that encourages road to recovery and ongoing professional growth.
Work EnvironmentThe work setting is an onsite outpatient office in Spokane, WA, where you will engage directly with patients in a warm and welcoming atmosphere. Our facility is equipped with advanced treatment modalities and rehabilitation equipment, allowing you to leverage the latest techniques in physical therapy. The typical work schedule is Monday to Friday from 9 AM to 5 PM, providing you a structured yet fulfilling work-life balance.
Key Responsibilities- Conduct thorough assessments to identify patient health objectives and to develop tailored treatment plans that align with their goals.
- Manage a patient caseload effectively, ensuring a consistent quality of care by limiting your workload to one patient per hour.
- Utilize a variety of treatment modalities, including manual therapy techniques to enhance recovery and alleviate pain.
- Design and implement fitness and wellness programs that address the unique needs of each patient while promoting long-term health.
- Monitor patient progress, adjusting treatment strategies as necessary, and maintaining accurate documentation of all services provided.
- Provide education and motivation to patients, fostering their engagement and promoting adherence to their individualized treatment plans.
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure a cohesive approach to patient care, facilitating referrals and consultations as needed.
- Engage in continuous learning to remain updated on the latest advances in physical therapy.
Our primary focus revolves around orthopedic patients dealing with post-surgical rehabilitation, sports injuries, and chronic pain conditions. We aim to empower our patients by not only addressing their immediate recovery needs but also equipping them with the tools to maintain a healthy and active lifestyle long after their treatment concludes.
Qualifications- Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) with a solid foundation in orthopedic modalities.
- Valid Washington State Physical Therapist License with no disciplinary actions on record.
- Proficient in utilizing electronic medical record (EMR) systems, particularly WebPT.
- Experience in outpatient orthopedic settings, with demonstrable skills in manual therapy techniques.
- Background in creating and executing exercise programs for various patient demographics.
- Familiarity with the latest trends in rehabilitation practices and patient care methodologies.
