Work Environment

As an onsite Physical Therapist at our outpatient office, you will be part of a collaborative and innovative environment. Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough evaluations of each patient to develop individualized treatment plans that address specific recovery goals.
• Administer a range of therapeutic interventions, including manual therapy techniques, therapeutic exercises, and modalities tailored to enhance patient outcomes.
• Maintain a patient caseload of approximately seven patients per day, ensuring comprehensive care and attention to each individual's needs.
• Track and document patient progress meticulously, adjusting treatment plans as necessary to ensure optimal recovery.
• Engage in regular communication with patients, caregivers, and medical professionals to foster a cohesive approach to each patient's rehabilitation.
• Educate patients and their families about therapeutic techniques, home exercises, and lifestyle modifications that can aid in their recovery.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Your role will primarily involve working with a diverse outpatient population, including individuals recovering from surgery, injury, or chronic conditions. Your expertise will play a crucial role in their rehabilitation process, guiding them through personalized therapy designed to restore function and enhance their day-to-day life. Qualifications

• Must possess a valid New York State Physical Therapist License.
• A Master's degree or Doctorate in Physical Therapy (MSPT or DPT) is required.
• Minimum of two years of experience as a practicing physical therapist in an outpatient setting is mandatory.

Preferred Experience

• Experience with a variety of therapeutic techniques, including but not limited to manual therapy, therapeutic exercise, and neuromuscular re-education.
• Comfortable utilizing electronic health record (EHR) systems for patient documentation and progress tracking.
• Familiarity with evidence-based practice models and their application in outpatient therapy settings.

Compensation and Benefits

The compensation for this position ranges from $100,000 to $120,000 annually, commensurate with experience.
