Key Responsibilities

• Conduct in-depth evaluations of patients to assess movement patterns, strengths, and weaknesses, leading to the formulation of tailored treatment plans.
• Implement a wide range of therapeutic interventions, including manual therapy, therapeutic exercises, and modality applications, to optimize recovery.
• Continuously monitor patient progress and adjust treatment plans as necessary to meet rehabilitation goals.
• Document all patient interactions and treatment outcomes accurately in the electronic medical record (EMR) to ensure clear communication with the healthcare team.
• Engage with patients and their families, educating them on effective home exercise programs, injury prevention strategies, and lifestyle modifications.
• Stay current on advancements in orthopedic rehabilitation and integrate best practices into your treatment approaches for improved patient outcomes.

Patient Population / Client Focus

The primary focus of our services includes individuals recovering from orthopedic surgeries, sports-related injuries, and musculoskeletal disorders. You will work with a diverse patient population spanning various age groups, all with unique needs and rehabilitation goals. Your role will be pivotal in helping these patients regain strength, mobility, and functional independence.

Qualifications

• A Bachelor's or Master's degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited institution is required.
• Possession of a valid Physical Therapist license in New Jersey is mandatory.
• A minimum of three years of relevant experience in orthopedic physical therapy or a related field.
• Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to communicate effectively with patients, families, and team members.
• Proficiency in utilizing evidence-based practice to guide clinical decision-making.

Preferred Experience
