Key Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive patient screenings, evaluations, and diagnoses to inform treatment plans, utilizing established physical therapy procedures and modalities.

• Assist in operational aspects of the department, including mentoring staff and managing the scheduling of therapy sessions.
• Contribute to program development and community outreach efforts to expand the department's referral base and enhance service offerings.

Patient Population / Client Focus

The Physical Therapist will provide care to a broad spectrum of patient populations, including neonates, children, adolescents, adults, and geriatric individuals. Understanding the unique needs and treatment protocols for each demographic will be essential to deliver competent and empathetic care, ensuring all patients receive effective rehabilitation support.

Qualifications

• A current state Physical Therapist license in Virginia.
• A Bachelor's degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited institution; a Master's or Doctorate in Physical Therapy is preferred.
• At least two years of clinical experience within a healthcare or rehabilitation setting.
• Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate effectively with patients and healthcare teams.

Compensation and Benefits

The annual salary for this position ranges from $80,000 to $100,000, based on relevant experience and qualifications.
