Key Responsibilities

• Comprehensive Evaluations: Conduct thorough assessments of residents to identify physical limitations, pain levels, and functional capabilities. Collaborate with other healthcare providers to create individualized treatment plans that are tailored to each resident's unique needs.
• Therapeutic Interventions: Implement targeted physical therapy modalities and interventions such as manual therapy, therapeutic exercise, and neuromuscular re-education to improve physical function, strength, and mobility.
• Education & Support: Empower residents and their families by providing education about therapy processes, home exercise programs, and strategies for maintaining optimal mobility and health. Offer ongoing emotional support to encourage progress and recovery.
• Record-Keeping: Utilize our electronic medical record (EMR) system to maintain accurate, comprehensive documentation of patient evaluations, treatment plans, and progress notes, ensuring compliance with healthcare regulations.
• Evidence-Based Practice: Stay abreast of the latest research and advancements in physical therapy to integrate contemporary practices into your treatment protocols, ensuring the highest standard of care.

Patient Population / Client Focus

You will work with a diverse patient population, including elderly residents, individuals recovering from surgery, sports injuries, and those managing chronic pain conditions. The focus is on restoring function and enhancing the quality of life through compassionate and tailored physical therapy solutions.

Qualifications

• Master's degree or Doctorate in Physical Therapy from an accredited institution.
• Current New Jersey State Physical Therapist License in good standing.
• Minimum of 2 years of clinical experience in a rehabilitation setting; consideration will be given to new graduates demonstrating a strong commitment to patient care.
• Demonstrated proficiency in manual therapy techniques and a patient-centered approach to treatment.
• Familiarity with EMR software, particularly WebPT, is highly desirable.

Preferred Experience

• Experience developing and implementing rehabilitation programs specifically for the geriatric population.
• Previous involvement in interdisciplinary team settings and a solid understanding of collaborative healthcare practices.

Compensation and Benefits

The salary for this position ranges from USD 90,000 to 100,000 annually, commensurate with experience and qualifications. We offer a comprehensive benefits package that includes:
