Key Responsibilities

• Consult with interdisciplinary healthcare professionals to coordinate patient care, communicating changes in the patient's condition and modifying treatment plans as necessary.
• Conduct comprehensive evaluations, including reviewing medical histories, performing physical assessments, and establishing precise treatment protocols based on diagnostic findings.
• Implement and adjust treatment plans based on ongoing evaluation of patient progress and response to therapy, ensuring alignment with current best practices in orthopedic rehabilitation.
• Document all patient interactions, evaluations, and treatment plans with accuracy and timeliness, ensuring that all notes and reports provide clear indicators of patient progress and necessary modifications to care.
• Execute discharge planning processes to facilitate a smooth transition for patients out of therapy, providing follow-up recommendations and necessary documentation.
• Engage in continuous professional development and maintain compliance with state and national regulations regarding physical therapy practice.
• Collaborate with team members and participate in facility meetings to share insights and contribute to the ongoing improvement of patient care services.

Patient Population / Client Focus

As an Orthopedic Rehabilitation Physical Therapist, you will work primarily with patients recovering from a wide range of orthopedic injuries and surgeries, including post-operative rehabilitation for joint replacements, sports injuries, and chronic pain conditions. Your clinical experience and empathetic approach will directly influence their recovery trajectory, helping patients regain mobility and function.

Qualifications

• A Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) from an accredited program.
• A valid physical therapy license as required by the state of Florida.
• Current certification in Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Providers by the American Heart Association.

Preferred Experience

• At least 2 years of experience in orthopedic physical therapy, preferably in an outpatient setting.
• Experience with electronic medical records (EMR) systems and clinical documentation software.
• Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team.

Compensation and Benefits

The Orthopedic Rehabilitation Physical Therapist position offers a competitive salary in the range of USD 100,000 to 120,000 annually, commensurate with experience and qualifications. In addition to a robust salary, our benefits package includes:
