Work EnvironmentThis position is situated within our state-of-the-art rehabilitation center in Orlando, which is designed to facilitate comprehensive patient care and comfortable therapy sessions. As a full-time employee, you will have a structured Monday to Friday work schedule and will engage directly with patients, collaborating with a multidisciplinary team of healthcare professionals, including physicians and rehabilitation specialists, to create a holistic treatment experience.
Key Responsibilities- Evaluate, plan, and implement individualized treatment programs for patients referred by physicians, ensuring a tailored approach to rehabilitation.
- Utilize advanced techniques and methodologies in physical therapy to treat a diverse patient population, focusing on orthopedic, pediatric, neurologic, and sports medicine cases.
- Provide comprehensive assessment and documentation of patient progress, maintaining accurate and timely records in compliance with regulations.
- Demonstrate exceptional customer service by actively engaging with patients and their families, ensuring their comfort and understanding throughout the treatment process.
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to maximize patient outcomes through a team-based approach to care, utilizing evidence-based practices.
- Consult, educate, and train patients and caregivers on therapeutic exercises, injury prevention strategies, and the use of adaptive equipment as needed.
- Implement protocols to meet minimum utilization goals and contribute to the achievement of organizational objectives.

Qualifications- A Doctorate degree in Physical Therapy (DPT) and a valid state license for Physical Therapy.
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills, enabling effective interaction with patients and their families.
- Proficiency in documentation and patient management systems, alongside strong word processing abilities.
- A passion for building relationships with patients to help them exceed their rehabilitation goals and a genuine desire to connect positively with people.
While a minimum of two years of experience as a Physical Therapist is required, candidates with specialized experience in areas such as sports medicine, pediatrics, or neurological rehabilitation will be given preference. A commitment to continuous learning and professional development is highly valued.
