Work Environment

Our onsite rehabilitation center in North Fort Myers is equipped with state-of-the-art facilities and resources designed to support the treatment of patients recovering from orthopedic injuries and surgeries. You will engage with a diverse patient population in a modern setting that emphasizes personalized care and effective rehabilitation strategies. With scheduled weekly hours of 40, including variable weekends, our center operates to meet the diverse needs of our patients, allowing for a dynamic and rewarding workday.

Key Responsibilities

As an Orthopedic Physical Therapist, your roles will include:

• Conducting thorough assessments and evaluations of patients to identify functional limitations and inform individualized treatment plans.
• Developing and implementing comprehensive rehabilitation strategies tailored to each patient's specific needs.
• Collaborating with a multidisciplinary team of healthcare professionals, including physicians and rehabilitation specialists, to ensure optimal patient care outcomes.
• Maintaining clear and effective communication with patients regarding their treatment plans, progress, and any adjustments needed.
• Documenting all treatment interventions, progress notes, and discharge plans in compliance with applicable laws and professional standards.
• Participating in leadership functions such as community outreach, quality improvement initiatives, and educational programs for staff.
• Supervising and mentoring support staff, ensuring they are aligned with the standards of care we uphold.
• Engaging in continuous professional development through self-study and attendance at relevant workshops and continuing education programs.
