Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough evaluations of patients' physical conditions, implementing personalized treatment plans that align with the physician's recommendations.
• Deliver therapeutic interventions across a variety of specialties including orthopedic, pediatric, neurologic, and sports medicine cases.
• Provide exceptional customer service to patients and caregivers, ensuring they feel supported and informed throughout their treatment journey.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to maximize recovery potential through comprehensive care strategies.
• Educate patients and their families on exercises, recovery techniques, and lifestyle adjustments to facilitate long-term health improvement.
• Track and maintain documentation of patient progress, adhering to legal and ethical standards.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Qualifications

• A Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) from an accredited institution.
• Current state license as a Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) held in Virginia, verified by the Physical Therapy Examining Committee.
• A minimum of two years of relevant experience in a clinical setting.
• Certification in CPR to ensure patient safety.
• Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, to effectively interact with patients, families, and healthcare professionals.

Preferred Experience

Compensation and Benefits
