Work Environment

Located in the vibrant city of Irving, TX, our outpatient orthopedic clinic offers an engaging work environment where teamwork and communication are key. As a Physical Therapist in our center, you will work alongside a diverse team of healthcare professionals, including occupational therapists, nurses, and rehabilitation specialists, all committed to delivering comprehensive patient care. The clinic operates Monday through Friday from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM, allowing for a balanced work-life dynamic.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide one-on-one therapeutic treatments, typically managing 1-2 patients per hour, focusing on orthopedic rehabilitation.
• Conduct thorough evaluations of patient mobility and functionality to establish individualized treatment plans based on their specific needs and clinical outcomes.
• Utilize a range of evidence-based techniques such as manual therapy, therapeutic exercises, and modalities to facilitate recovery.
• Educate patients and their caregivers on rehabilitation strategies, injury prevention, and home exercise programs to enhance recovery efforts.
• Continuously assess patient progress, modifying treatment plans as necessary to ensure optimal outcomes.
• Document patient interactions, treatment plans, and progress in compliance with clinic protocols and regulations.

Patient Population / Client Focus

The primary focus of our outpatient orthopedic clinic is on individuals recovering from musculoskeletal injuries, post-surgical rehabilitation, and chronic pain conditions. Our patient population ranges from young athletes to older adults, each requiring tailored rehabilitation strategies to facilitate their return to optimal function and mobility. You will have the opportunity to build lasting relationships with patients, guiding them throughout their recovery journey.

Qualifications

• Master's Degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited institution.
• Valid and active Physical Therapist license in the state of Texas.
• Strong foundational knowledge of orthopedic conditions and rehabilitation techniques.
• Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, enabling effective collaboration with patients and team members.

Preferred Experience

• Two years of experience in a physical therapy role, preferably in an outpatient orthopedic setting.

Compensation and Benefits

The compensation package for this role includes a competitive salary range of $90,000 to $110,000 per year, based on experience and credentials.
