Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct comprehensive patient assessments to identify their mobility issues and rehabilitative needs.
  • Create individualized rehabilitation plans that focus on restoring function and improving physical capabilities.
  • Utilize advanced therapeutic modalities, including manual therapy techniques, to address specific orthopedic issues.
  • Deliver hands-on therapeutic treatment while educating patients on exercises and self-care techniques relevant to their recovery.
  • Maintain detailed documentation using EMR software, particularly Web PT, to track patient progress and outcomes accurately.
  • Motivate and counsel patients throughout their treatment journey, fostering a trust-based therapeutic relationship.
  • Regularly evaluate treatment efficacy and make necessary adjustments to care plans based on patient responses.
  • Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team, including physicians and healthcare providers, to coordinate care effectively.
  • Stay updated with clinical developments in physical therapy and incorporate best practices into your treatment regimen.
  • Promote health and wellness initiatives within the clinic to encourage a proactive approach to physical fitness among patients.
Patient Population / Client Focus

Our facility primarily serves an orthopedic clientele, encompassing a diverse group of patients recovering from surgeries, sports injuries, chronic pain conditions, and postural issues. You will work with individuals of various ages, from young athletes to older adults, each requiring a tailored approach to therapy. Your role directly contributes to these patients' rehabilitation goals by enhancing their mobility, reducing pain, and improving overall physical function.

Qualifications
  • A Bachelor's Degree in Physical Therapy or a Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) from an accredited program.
  • An active Physical Therapist license in the state of Florida (FL), demonstrating no history of sanctions or board proceedings.
  • Proven expertise in orthopedic manual therapy and exercise prescription.
  • Excellent documentation skills, proficient in using EMR systems, particularly Web PT.
  • Strong foundation in current evidence-based physical therapy practices.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, enabling effective patient interaction and education.
Preferred Experience
  • Previous work in an outpatient setting with a focus on orthopedic rehabilitation is preferred.
  • Experience with developing and implementing fitness and wellness programs tailored to individual needs will be beneficial.
  • Familiarity with current research in physical therapy and active participation in continuing education is encouraged.
Compensation and Benefits

We offer a competitive annual salary ranging from USD 100,000 to 120,000, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
