Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct thorough evaluations of patients to assess their physical conditions, pain levels, and rehabilitation needs.
  • Develop and implement effective, evidence-based treatment plans utilizing a variety of therapeutic modalities including therapeutic exercises, manual techniques, and modern rehabilitation equipment.
  • Monitor and document patient progress through regular assessments, adapting treatment plans as necessary to ensure optimal recovery.
  • Instruct patients on proper exercises and techniques for enhancing mobility and reducing pain, tailoring each session to meet the individual needs of patients.
  • Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team, including physicians, occupational therapists, and nursing staff, to ensure a holistic approach to patient care.
  • Educate patients and their families on self-management strategies and preventive care to facilitate long-term health outcomes.
  • Stay current with professional developments by attending workshops, engaging in continuing education, and participating in professional organizations.
Patient Population / Client Focus

Qualifications
  • A Doctorate in Physical Therapy from an accredited program is required.
  • A valid and active state license to practice physical therapy in Florida.

  • Proficiency in documentation through electronic health record systems.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with adaptability and agility.
  • New graduates are welcome; prior work experience is not required.
