Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough evaluations and assessments to determine patient needs and establish individualized treatment programs based on physician referrals.
• Implement therapy techniques and procedures that facilitate improvement in patients' functional abilities, ensuring alignment with their prescribed care plans.
• Maintain excellent customer service standards, ensuring a positive experience for all patients and their families.
• Utilize advanced treatment modalities in various specialties, including orthopedic, pediatric, neurologic, and sports medicine, to enhance recovery outcomes.
• Educate and train patients and their caregivers on how to manage their conditions effectively, providing them with the tools necessary for successful rehabilitation.
• Collaborate with a diverse healthcare team to maximize patient outcomes, utilizing a data-driven and evidence-based approach to care.
• Meet minimum utilization goals and contribute to the achievement of facility objectives, ensuring overall clinic success.

Patient Population / Client Focus

In this role, you will work with a diverse patient population, primarily focusing on individuals recovering from orthopedic injuries. Our clinicians are trained to address the unique needs of patients in a variety of settings, including those with pediatric, neurologic, and sports-related requirements. The focus is on fostering strong relationships with patients, helping them exceed their functional goals through personalized therapy plans and dedicated support.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree from an accredited physical therapy program (APTA or CAPTE approved).
• Current state license to practice physical therapy in Virginia.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification from the American Heart Association.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills are essential for effective patient interaction and documentation.
• Proficient in word processing and computer skills for patient management and planning.

Preferred Experience

• Previous experience in a clinical setting with a focus on orthopedic rehabilitation.

Compensation and Benefits
