Key Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive evaluations of patients to assess their physical abilities and limitations, tailoring treatment plans accordingly.
• Implement various therapeutic interventions—including exercise programs, manual therapy, and the use of equipment—to alleviate pain and improve mobility.
• Maintain accurate records of patient treatments, progress, and responses, enabling data-driven adjustments to therapy plans.
• Work closely with patients to redefine therapeutic goals and develop new strategies when necessary, ensuring continuous improvement in their rehabilitation journey.
• Provide education to patients and their families on appropriate physical therapy procedures, including the proper use of assistive devices for improved mobility.
• Stay current in the field by attending workshops, reviewing literature, and participating in professional organizations, thereby enhancing your clinical knowledge and skills.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Our patient demographic includes individuals recovering from a broad spectrum of conditions, including musculoskeletal injuries, post-operative rehabilitation, neurological disorders, and chronic pain. Your role as a Physical Therapist will involve developing care strategies suited to a diverse group of patients, adapting your methods to their unique recovery journeys and advocating for their long-term health and well-being.

Qualifications

• A Bachelor's or Doctorate degree in Physical Therapy (DPT) from an accredited institution.
• Valid state licensure to practice physical therapy in Virginia.

• Proficient in using computers and medical documentation software to track patient progress efficiently.

Preferred Experience

Compensation and Benefits
