Work Environment

Your work setting will be within our rehabilitation facility in Plantation, Florida, providing direct, hands-on patient care in a collaborative and motivating environment. The facility operates during regular business hours, from Monday to Friday, from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM, allowing for a balanced work-life integration.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct thorough initial assessments of patients suffering from orthopedic conditions, utilizing evidence-based evaluations to craft individualized treatment plans tailored to each patient's needs.
  • Design and implement a variety of therapeutic exercises and manual therapy techniques, closely monitoring progress and outcomes to adapt treatment plans as necessary.
  • Educate patients and their families about their conditions, emphasizing the importance of adherence to home exercise programs and lifestyle modifications to ensure optimal recovery.
  • Work in a coordinated manner with other healthcare professionals, such as physicians and occupational therapists, to create a comprehensive patient care strategy that enhances overall treatment effectiveness.

You will work with various patient demographics, helping them achieve their rehabilitation goals with comprehensive assessments and a tailored approach to their individual conditions.

Qualifications
  • A Bachelor's Degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited program is required, with preference for candidates holding advanced certifications.
  • Active and unrestricted state licensure as a Physical Therapist in Florida.
  • At least three years of hands-on experience within orthopedic settings is mandatory, showcasing your familiarity with evaluating and treating a spectrum of physical injuries.
  • Proficiency in trigger point therapy, as well as broader inpatient and outpatient rehabilitation methodologies, is highly advantageous.

Compensation and Benefits
